Pendlehurst
Most of the panels in this window were badly damaged and letting the elements in on particularly bad weather days.
The decision we made was that we would need to completely re lead the bottom three panels and restore the top three.
Once the panels were removed we boarded the opening to weather proof and for security.
The three bottom panels were stripped (glass removed from Old lead), glass was then cleaned and all panels re leaded using matching glass (cut where needed) and matching lead profile.
The top three panels were badly bowed so these were carefully straightened out and any repairs carried out where the glass was broken.
All six panels were then refitted into the stonework and pointed to the outside and siliconed from the inside.
