This was a job undertaken through George Boococks Painters and Decorators. Two of the Stained Glass windows in the Crematorium had been accidentally broken by a rogue ladder. Both panels had a shield in the middle which took most of the impact. These shields had multiple layers of paint and silver stain and needed to be re cut and re painted from scratch. We needed to remove the two panels and board the openings. We then stripped back the broken glass and lead. The shields were re made and the panels were leaded with the new shields. They were then re fitted into the metal frames and putty pointed.
